Xavier School of Management – Founder Message
XLRI Jamshedpur was founded
by Fr. Quinn Enright in 1949. The operations in this college began with
management and trade unions courses offered to the students in 1949. In 1953, a
two-year program and a full-time program in industrial welfare were set up in
1953. XLRI got its name Xavier Labor Relations Institute in 1955 and became the
oldest business management school in India. There are world-class
infrastructural facilities including well-equipped laboratories, fully
furnished classrooms, air conditioned academic block, computerized library,
computer center, auditorium, mess, canteen, seminars and conference halls. The
faculty is experienced and dedicated to creating true leaders of tomorrow who
are not only committed towards their work as professionals but are also
